Summers County High School was the first school in WV to host a College Decision Day. The idea behind the event was to celebrate students who had made the decision to further their education after high school, whether it be college/university, technical school, or the military. Students sign a "letter of intent" to further their education. Just like in sports signings, their parents sit with them as they sign, and the students invite teachers who have made a positive impact on their lives.
